JK Compatible MyGig Model Numbers
For those looking to purchase a MyGig on the secondary market (Ebay or elsewhere) I thought it might be nice to try and compile a list of Model numbers that are known to work in a JK.
I can verify that the following model number will work:
05064080AG
Those of you that have a MyGig installed and working in you JK, if you would be so kind as to look take a look at your model number and post it to the thread here, I'll edit this post to include all verified working model numbers.
Additionally, for those who have purchased a MyGig that turned out to not be compatible if you'll post those model numbers I'll include them in this post as well. Hopefully this will be a valuable resource for anyone looking to buy.
To find your MyGig Model number:
First pry off the top center console panel and set it off to the side. (If you pry from the end closest to the windshield, it will pop loose, then slide the panel towards the rear of the vehicle to unhook the end over the radio faceplate and set it off to the side)

After you have opened the top of your center console, you will be able to see the label on top of the MyGig. There are several numbers on it, the one we want is circled in the picture below:

There may also be an easier way to get this number -- It seems to me that there is an information screen available when the unit is on -- I'll check that later to see if you can get the number there too.

The easier way to get that part # without having to remove the panel is to enter engineering mode.
All at the same time, press the seek up, seek down & menu buttons to get into engineering mode then scroll down the list and select Versions and look at the HW Part #
skydyvyr, mine is the same as yours.

Does anyone know if this information is available anywhere?
I'm trying to see which mygig models will work in a 09 jk without infinity.
I've searched and can't find anything, but I'd think it's out there... somewhere.

Search this website.....wkjeeps.com/wk_nav_2.htm[/url], tells everything about all mygig units.
