Hi Guys,

I have a JK that turns the starter for a split second then stops and then turns the starter for a split second then stops.... It is like a cycle - crank, no crank, crank, no crank.....
Starter and alternatorare new. If I jump the starter solenoid relay the vehicle cranks and starts....
When I use an OBDC scaner I can see the gear selection switch between Neutral and blank at the same rate as the crank no crank....
Had the enitre harness out and checked for continuity between gearbox and TCU. Replaced the solenoid pack on the gearbox. Checked all connectors between the grearbox and harness.
When I moved the TCU to another vehicle I got the same problem - exactly, so hey, or find a used TCU which took a couple of weeks. I installed the new used TCU and I have exactly the same problem!!
How do I manage to move the problem by moving the TCU to the other vehicle and yet a replacement TCU has the same issue in this vehicle... the mind boggles.....
Any thoughts?
