Default KC SlimLites

I just ordered KC HiLights SlimLites for my Jeep. I chose these because I really like the way RescueX's look on his similar bumper (Shrockworks mid).

Anyway, the thing that has caused me pause for several weeks is trying to wade my way through the various configurations and prices. They're all over the map! I found what is the same package from different places for anywhere from 132 to 275 dollars, and many prices stepped all the way through that range. Now, there are so many options for these lights (Did you want titanium sir? How 'bout 100 or 130 watt? Chrome or black? Long range, driving or fog? Super white or kiddie-car blue? Yada-yada-yada.) that I kept wondering if these were even the same item.

I finally decided that the 275 dollar lights from one company are identical to the $154 lights that I ordered from another. Why didn't I chose the identical $132 lights? Because the $154 lights actually indicated on the website that they were IN STOCK, and they had a shipping of free or $8 for 3-5 days. The $132 gave no indication whether the product was in stock, and only offered one shipping price: $24 (for one dollar more I could have had overnight shipping from the company I ultimately went with).

I really wanted to order them from another company that's a forum sponsor (as was the $132 company), but their price was well north of $200, though with free shipping. Go figure.

I have a pair of the 130w driving lights, you'll love them. I think that I paid about $135 for the pair at a local off-road store.

I ordered a pair of 100-watt driving lights. I was looking for a bit wider pattern over a much longer one--something to make up for the weak stock headlights when off-road. Black finish. White lights (I really dislike kiddie-car blue). They'll go on the Shrockworks mid-width bumper. I decided against lights on the windshield--don't want the hood lit up, and don't want my vision blocked by the lamp assemblies.

I have the Hella 500 and they are fairly slim. I dont clear. I had to do some minor bending

I had some left over material from my daystar spare tire bumpstops and cut two thin washers that slide down over the antenna and rest next to the KC light. They acts like a soft bumpers to prevent rubbing and are black so you don't mind them.
