I bought a pair of rear tail lights by Pilot Automotive (LED).

I installed them and am getting the hyper flash.

Pilot siad it is an issue with 2012 and 2013 -

The lights already have a resistor.

Pilot will take them back, but they did tell me if I add a relay for Hyper Flash it would fix the problem.

Can anybody help explain how to do this?

I would call them back and ask them specifically how to do that, and make sure it won't void the warranty.
