Default led light bar on bumper

I'm interested in putting a light bar on a rugged ridge bumper light bar. I want to use it on the highway as there are many times that no traffic is coming towards me and I live in deer country.

Can anyone recommend a bumper light bar that would do the trick. I've been looking at eyourlife bars on amazon and they seem to have a great following and good prices. There are several models and I'm unsure which would best for me (spot, flood, spot flood combo). Additionally when do most folks turn the led bar on, when they switch on their high beams to supplement or low beams to extend the range and width. If high beams, is there a way to relay the led bar so that when you flick on the high beams the bar activates, as opposed to having a switch on the dash. Additionally thought on pillar lights. Again see eyourlife has some 18watt led pillars and I believe spot pattern. would 18 watts be enough to make a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Al

Quadratec has some great new light bars and wiring harnesses. I have their 20" bar. You might be able to mount the light bar directly to your bumper by drilling a couple holes.
Even if you don't get a Quadratec light, take a look at their harness. The installation instructions are on line. If you don't know how to wire up your own relays, then their harness may help you quite a bit. Rather than wiring the harness to a switched power source (cigarette lighter), you could tap into the power from your high beams. Then the lights would only come on when the high beams and the switch are on.

Here is a diagram of the sort of arrangement you want.
