I did use a daystar panel. I connected to the Orange wire with a grey stripe, behind the dash panel connected to the HVAC. Once you pull the dash panel off you can easily access it from the passenger side without disconnecting any wire harnesses.

Awesome. I just bought two of them; "Off Road Lights" and "Rear Lights". Then I bought a DayStar lower panel. Can't wait to hook these up. Then I need to get a couple more things to light up. Maybe windshield lights and rock lights.

When hooking these up to the dash lights, can you hook them all up with one wire to the dash wire? Splice in the 4 switch wires into 1 wire and then splice into the 1 dash wire?

Thanks man!

That is what I did. I ran 4 connecters inline that plugged in.

So is the glowing always on when the vehicle is turned on? Or does it only come on when you turn on the lights? Is that wire in behind the glove box, or the main dash panel (behind the climate controls and stock switches)?

I did have to shave the switches a little bit. They fit perfect into the panel, but the actual rocker has a slight arch to it, which rub against each other. Simple solution. I just put them on a belt sander for a few seconds & they were perfect. Here are pictures of them with lights on. They are green when the dash lights are on, & turn red on the bottom when the rocker is turned on.
Which switch panel did you mount the switches in? A rugged ridge?

It is behind the climate control panel. Switches come on when I turn the dash lights on.

Hey JKU, those look fantastic. I am definitely going with these switches. I have a couple questions though!

1. On otrattw's site they say "The Contura V switches and rockers will not work in this switch pod." ... Now your running the Contura V switches right? and the only modification you needed to do was to shave the sides a bit? Just want to double check before I order some of there custom etched ones.

2. With the lights coming on and off with the dash lights. Do they also dim with the dash lights as well?

3. How well does the green match the factory greenish/white dash lights?

Thanks!

1) Yes these are the CONTURA V LASER ETCHED ROCKER SWITCHES. All I had to do was shave about 1/32 of an inch on the sides that the switches would touch each other.

2) Yes, they dim with the dash lights

3) The green is brighter than what is in the jeep, but still looks good.
