Default LED Turn signal lights

Hi everybody! I recently placed an order for some nice HIDs with projectors for the jk. In anticipation for them to arrive I would like to order a set of LEDs to replace the stock turn signal lights. Reason for this is simple: i want to make sure my turn signals will be bright enough for people to see them in conjunction with my projector hids. I did some googling around and after being steered away from the "Recon's Turn signal LED smoked lights" I stumbled upon "PUTCO 360 LED turnlights". I don't want for my headlights to turn off when I signal. What do you think will be the best possible way to setup LEDs, which route which would you go and how would you install it ( resistor witchcraft etc. ) . Also I would love to see pics as well! Thanks

Being that there aren't many aftermarket LED turn signal options available, I think the best option currently is the VLED's V3 Triton System. It comes with a control module/ballast so you don't need to worry about hyperflash and wiring in resistors. Definitely worth the price and will be much brighter than the Recon lights.

Thank you so much for the help! Do these simply replace whatever goes in the factory signal housing?

Also, would these be the type of led that switch off a headlight in order to signal? I'm trying to steer clear of that as it might have negative side effects with my HIDs

Yeah they should. In the drop down box just make sure to choose 3157 fitment and you should be good to go.

I highly doubt they function this way although it wouldn't be a bad idea to contact VLED's customer service and confirm with them before ordering.

I've had 2 pairs of Recon LEDs which both crapped out. Right now I have clear lenses with these bulbs.

Look at this on eBay:

2x Premium LED CANBUS 20 SMD 3157 3057 Light Bulb Car LED Cool Amber (No Error)

Awesome thanks ! Sheesh quite the price difference between the v3 triton LED and these ones. Though I've always been weary of the Ebay specials.... how long have you had them and have you had any issue with them and the canbus system? VLED's (v3 triton) customer service emailed me right away about my inquiry so I know they stand by their product. Let me know , Thanks!

For $16 it may be worth the chance.

I've only had them about a month, but I've had no issues at all. Like someone said, for $16 it was worth a shot to me.
