Default Light Bar Whistle

Hey everyone. I first wanna say that I know there are threads already about this issue but I was curious what seems to be working best for you guys. I have a 50" light bar mounted above the windshield and of course I'm getting that annoying whistle across the back fins. What do you recommend to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

I used edge trim on the bottom 3 fins, cut it down dramatically but not completely. Might do another fin. I've seen people do filler materials but the edge trim seemed like the easiest and cleanest solution to me.

I meet someone who wrapped the back and he said it went away

Whistle or loud ass wind buffeting?

Most of the whistle can be fixed by squirting some silicone in between the fins, just the last 4 inches in each side. That stops the harmonic vibrating of the fins.

The rest of the whistle can be removed by covering the back of the bar with something, like a fluorescent bulb cover.

That left me with the crazy wind noise. Fixed that with vinyl gutter from Home Depot.

That big fin got rid of MOST of the noise, and cost less than $10. Saw the back of the gutter off, paint it black, jam it into the fins!

Remove it and the whistling goes away. Install it when you need it.

I went to ACE Hardware and put some small weatherstripping on the bottom of mine. The kind that sticks. Whistle went away (I mean a LITTLE was there)... come to think of it the whistle has been louder lately. Wonder if the weatherstripping fell off since it was just on there with the adhesive. I wanted to screw it in.

Well I tried the weather stripping on the bottom 4 fins but the noise is still there. Any other ideas? Should I do more fins?
