Maglite ?

I guess this is an electrical and Lighting question.

I know a lot of you carry a Maglite, do you use the 2 cell or the 3 cell?

Does anyone have the LED Maglite? Do you like it as much as the old one?

Stinger

Poly rechargeable Stinger, also comes in LED. Best light on the market.

I have the LED and it's a 2 cell. It's really bright and I like it much more than the conventional bulb. Best of all the Maglites are made in the USA.

two 3 cell led maglights, one mounted on the drivers side door one on the tailgate. lowes just had the 3 cell led's on sale for $14.95 each:thumbsup:

I had a seven cell and loved it until a battery leaked and ruined it. I now have five or six small mag lights as well as a 3 and a 4 cell. There are really some nice lights out there right now but I just can't see spending as much money as they are asking for them.

I have the Maglite LED 4D mounted to the driver's seat rail with some Maglite Mounting Brackets. Works great! There is definitely a difference between the normal bulb and the LED. If you already have one, you can simply get the conversion kit.

carry 2 of the 3D cell w/ LED bulbs. One on the tailgate and one of the drivers side seat rail. Really like the LED bulbs. Much cleaner light.

2 AA cell in the driver's door pocket, 5 D Cell on the tailgate, LED Tactical light (forget brand but not Stinger, don't have that kind of limit on my credit card...) in console. Had the Maglights forever, still haven't changed them to LED but it's probably a good stocking stuffer request.

Just used the mini last night when I dropped my GPS and couldn't find it in the dark. Gotta do a footwell light mod soon too I guess.

By the way, batteries get swapped when daylight savings time changes. Easy to remember, and I do the home flashlights, smoke detectors and bunch of other checks as well.

I got a 6D cell. The thing doubles as a ball bat.

I keep a 2 C cell mounted to the seat rail, and a 3 C cell in the recovery bag.
Both are sporting Gene Malkoff Cree LEDs, 240 lumens and run forever with a heavy heat sink to the flashlight body, so they don't dim as they warm up.
I also have a Surefire 6P defender with Malkoff Cree LED in the door pocket.
