I use a magcharger Rechargeable mounted to the seat bracket, Always charged and very bright.

Just mounted the Maglite brackets to the left seat rail and it seems like it'll give many years of service. No permit needed to carry this defensive item in the rig.
LED is the only way to go now with Maglite or I guess any flashlighjt. Got a Surefire from the son at Xmas and it's great too.
