Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) - I'm lost
Hey all,
I have a 2015 Sahara with about 50k miles on it. The only upgrades I have done so far from stock are; 2.5'' lift and 35s and headlights. So I'm hoping that will keep the troubleshooting to a minimum.
I have had the Malfunction Indicator Light go on/off for the past like 3 months if not longer. I can't pinpoint exactly when it comes on or when it turns off, because I am driving throughout the day for my construction job so it is hard to keep track of exactly whats going on with this. The only issue I noticed with the vehicle is the auto start feature. It turns itself off after a brief period of time and pops up a message saying "Remote Start Disabled - System Fault." I assume it could be this, but don't know for sure and also don't know how to troubleshoot this issue.
I have tried running the code on the dashboard and it doesn't read anything back to me anytime I do it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I am not sure where to go from here.
Thanks in advance!

The Jeep's self-reading code feature does not cover all potential codes.
Get the code read with an external code reader. A lot of auto parts stores will do it free of charge.
