Lol... sorry if I took that a bit too far. When you work in the biz, you'll appreciate everyone who has used a harness. I've seen some really hosed work in very tight spaces. I've cussed words most have never heard!!! Lol. Because of that, I feel strongly about cutting plugs. Think of it this way... it you ever DO have to go back in there to replace a radio (it happens), you'll have to deal with shortened and cut wired. Better to do the work on a bench than cramped in a hole.

Buy the harness......go to Installer.com and type in the year, make, and model....they'll give you the correct harness for unamplified.....but......it's not out yet......but be patient, unless you know exactly what you're doing.

The CHTO is for systems with factory amps and the other is for syatems without. You really don't need the CHTO unless you are going to continue using the factory amp.

But does anybody know what wires they have or not have in comparison to each other?
Basically what are the differences between the factory stereo plugs between the 2 types of JK systems?

Also does the basic 6 speaker sound system without sub get powered by the stock headunit while the premium system speakers & sub get powered by an external amp?
