I am re-pinning one of connectors due to rodent infestation, and i need a miller 6680 kit. However, I'm cheap and was wondering if anybody knows of a suitable substitute for this kit? Also wondering if anybody that has used one could tell me if the tool needs to be inserted from the wire side or the pin/socket side of the connector? ( it's on one of the smaller eight pin connectors behind the instrument cluster - a dang rat climbed in and decided to snack on some wires/connector ) Thank you for any and all assistance.
