Trying to find out if there's a way to control an ipod through Mygig. I saw that there is an adapter for the uconnect module from mopar, but you don't use that module with mygig, right?

To use uconnect in a mygig, all you need is 9.703 software and a mic?

To use a backup camera with mygig, you need to use lockpick, no software updates around that, right?

I ask because i bought the other unlocking module back in August and it just eliminates the restrictions on mygig dvd and input usage, nothing else. I'd like to avoid buying another module if i can get away with it.

Yes. Upgrade the software, access 'secret' menu by keeping pressed scan up, scan down and menu altogether for 5 seconds. Activate uconnect, add a mic. You are set.

Yes, lockpick plus an a/v plug that is sold with the lockpick, no need to update the software.
