MyGig OS Software Update
 

It's been very quiet. Has anyone heard if there is an up & coming OS update?

I was thinking the same thing yesterday.

I'm running 9.807... is that the most recent?

What is everyone else running at?

If you ask my dealer, 9.807 is the latest. That's what I have but we all know the dealer can be slow some times.

9.807 seemed like a big change compared to some of the other updates. With the A-Z for songs and what not. Maybe HB is taking a break for awhile... :dontknow2:

How regularly on average do the updates come out? Seems like it wasn't that long ago that 9.807 came out :dontknow2:

I have the 9.807 version. But I find many roads not found. My Garman does alot better job. Is that normal?

The "roads not found" you are describing would be related to a NavTeq update. That's the update for the GPS, describing roads. The Mygig software updates do things like enable the hidden engineering menu to enable uconnect and voice commands, update the icons for GPS, and add the A-Z feature for songs and playlists.

THe NavTeq updates are not free, while the other updates are. You can get a lot more information on the mygig at hxxp://mofv.com/mygig.

The OS software is separate from the NAV map updates. I think it's around $200 for the map updates from Navteq if I remember correctly.

For awhile updates were coming out fast and furious.... then everything went quiet. Hopefully its not an indication that the company is running into trouble.
