MyGig Peeling Screen
Hello, Everyone. Long time lurker, first time posting.
So recently the MyGig screen in 08 JKU has started to peel the outer coating off. So far it hasn't seemed to effect functionality but it looks pretty horrible and washes out the display making it harder to see during the day. So looking on thoughts on what if anyone knows if just the panel can be replaced, or if I am better at looking at an aftermarket Head unit to replace it with? If so what does everyone recommend for a replacement unit?

You could probably pick up a replacement on eBay for less than repairing that one. I would go that route if you really like that unit, or upgrade to an aftermarket one if you don't. Just my thoughts. Good luck with whatever you decide. That screen looks pretty bad. I couldn't live with that very long either.
