Default New Eclipse HU Problem

I just installed an Eclipse AVN6620 with PAC C2R-CHY2 harness and when I power my Jeep on the unit comes on and the screen comes up, but then promptly turns off and restarts and eventually goes to the same screen, and keeps in this repetitive loop. I don't have a voltmeter, but I have a lightbulb tester, I hooked it up to the constant power and it's not losing power. I hooked it up to the accessory wire and the bulb goes out at the same time the unit "restarts." I also noticed in the PAC unit that the red light inside goes out at the same time as my tester does, along with the restart. Does this sound like my PAC unit is bad?

Try unplugging it from the stereo and see if the wiring harness (and LED) do the same thing. The Head Unit could be feeding back and causing the board in the wiring harness to cycle.

hook up the power (mem, and on) to your ciggy lighter power and see if it still does it.

I would call PAC and tell them what the unit is doing. I just installed a JVC Double Din in my 07 Sahara (with Inifity). I hooked up the harness exactly like the directions told me, and it works perfectly. I have read on this forum that some people have had problems with the PAC harness. they called the customer service, and was sent a replacement harness. Which fixed the problem.
