Default New rigid dually install

I just got a great deal on a new bumper. However it does not have factory fog cut outs so I bought a set of rigid duallys to mount on bumper. They came with a switch so I ld like to install that in the cab. However I have never messed with lighting in a vehicle before. I keep reading about relays but I'm trying to avoid that if necessary.
My question is can I just run the leads on the wiring that came with the lights to the battery and run the rest into the cab to the mounted switch? Can it be this simple? Or is there more involved?

Yes, it is that simple.. If you don't want to be drilling holes in your dash, and think you may get more lights or 'switched' items in the future, think about gettin an sPod. Up to 6 switches above your rearview mirror. connect all accessories under the hood.

Thanks for input. I would love an solid but can't justify 400 when I need a winch right
Now. I'm probably going to add a set if duallys on the windshield brackets too and that should be enough for now. Any problem adding those the same way. Total running (4) duallys

If you are not using the factory fogs why don't you just wire the duallys to the factory fog light wiring and use the factory fog switch to operate them? That would eliminate any additional wiring or switchs. Just a thought!

I initially was going to do that. However I want to use these lights when off road at the same time with my high beams. Everything I've read says its extremely complicated to achieve that. So unfortunately I'm just abandoning the factory fog light switch.

Did you buy D1's or D2's?

if you bought D2's I'd go with the factory fog switch and low beams and it should be brighter than yor high beams...

I went with the factory circuit and switch, and I've never thought about changing it.

at some point I'm going to add a pair of D2's on my A pillars and probably wire that to key off the fog switch.

I have the d1 duallys so probably going to just wire them to the supplied switch and abandon fog switch
