just got my new 2010 wrangler sport last weekend, and wanted my first upgrade to be sound. will i still use the metra scvi-6522? the guys at both audio stores i went to steered me to the chto-013, but it didn't seem to work for us. i have the non-infinity system. shoulda made my first upgrade lift and armor like my bro advised!!!

Did you mean Metra XSVI-6522? That is what I used when I replaced my base model H/U.

natburris Jan 3, 2010 05:55 PM

yes i did mean xsvi, sorry:) i will try that one next weekend. i'm sure the install will be as smooth as silk with the right stuff?

Vernnz Jan 3, 2010 06:33 PM

I wouldn't use the term smooth as silk. It isn't too difficult. The first one is obviously the toughest. After that you will know what to expect. Did you get a double DIN H/U and if so, are you aware of what you have to cut out of the dash to get it to fit?

no, its a single din... pioneer 2100ib. got all my advice from best buy, i hope he steered me right. got the 2100ib, some pioneer a-series speakers, a rodkford fosgate 12" sub and amp to power it... i hope it works:dontknow2:

Sounds good. Let us know how it comes out and post pics.

for future reference, you can use www . metraonline.com to get the part numbers you need for any audio install. www . scosche.com also works.
