Just added the lights to the brackets. These PIAA brackets make these a 10 minute install. Remember that mine are bolting in the brackets from an AEV bumper. Just got done wiring them to oem wiring for now. Will aim tonight and then take some pics. At first glance, the look matches my Trucklite LEDs very well.

By the way, the draw is so low on these that PIAA specs 20 gauge wiring. Ironically, the factory fog wiring appears to be either 18 or 20 gauge as well. With LEDs, the days of needing a bunch of thicker, 16 gauge and lower wiring are over.

Nice. Good to know they make a bracket for them. I may grab a set of these in the near future

Awesome.. Can't wait to see the finished product. I'm looking at putting them in an LOD mod width.

Okay, the moment of truth. They're just okay. Do they match/compliment the look of my Trucklites? Perfectly, and that alone may be enough for me until someone does a good write up of the Trucklite fogs that no one on this forum has tried yet. Are they better than stock? Yes, I think so, if only because the light is much whiter. The spread is traditional fog, and I aimed them just a hair below my low beams. But for $200, what is to be expected? My benchmark is always HID, and these aren't even close. But, they look great in the bumper and put out okay light. Way better than the stocks that looked yellow and kind of ruined the cool Trucklite look. So they'll stay for now, but the output could be even brighter.

I want the $1200 Hella bi-xenon HIDs from Susquehanna Powersports. True BMW light output. No mon, no fun.

For the money and fact that they are led, they should be significantly brighter than stock. Kind of disappointing

I wonder if the Piaa LP530 Driving light version would be much better as far as light output? Anyone running the Driving light version of the 530? I'm planning on getting these just dont know which one yet.

The Truck-Lites are 4.5 inches. The PIAA 530s have a 3 5/16 inch lens. The factory fog lenses are about 3 5/8 inches.
You can get the Truck-Lites to fit in the stock bumper, but it requires some trimming.

Gotcha... I'm actually going to be putting them into a LOD midwidth so maybe a little more work required??

Yes, I wonder if the PIAA driving would be better. But if you truly want "driving light" output, I'd go with Dually D2s, which is what I have on my bumper. These are better than stock, just not significantly, at least in my opinion. But they do look great, I can tell you that.

There is a company that has made a bracket kit to make the Trucklite fogs fit our JKs. Let me try to find the link. I think the brackets are like $100 for a set, but I think the fogs are somewhere north of $350. I think. It's an expensive proposition.
