Ok, so I'm a little gun shy here... I've got the pillar all set up, i ran 12" wires from each "in" and "out" switch on the Daystar rockers so that way they are accessible through the side panel. Now i need to run power to each IN, and then run each OUT to my accessories or just cap them if not in use.

Now i know i can't just run wire, i need to have a fuse, or a relay, or perhaps both in this circuit... but i dont really know where each should go.

My newb guess: I run 1 wire from the battery into some type of fuse, 30amp? i take the output of that and I splice it to the 3 "IN" to the switches? or would that put too much juice in the switch? HELP!!!!

Any links to products i should get would be helpful, no one at the local auto shops really knows what i need. I've gotten a inline bus fuse, a Fuse Tap, and this other thing which supposedly can take a hot wire from the battery and be spliced out 3x and it holds a fuse. I'll post pictures when i get home.

Use the "Add A Circuit" to tap power from the fuse box. Use a ( 3 Amp ) fuse. Run this new circuit to the switches to power all of your switches.

ok, so in the "build your own instructions" world, i'm here:

1) Locate Fuse Box
2) Locate right plug in Fuse box for the accessory (I saw a thread on this and i'll find it again)
3) Plug in "Add A Circuit" with 3amp Fuse
4) Splice that 4 ways to power all 4 switches on the "in" portion of the switch
5) Run the "OUT" of each switch to the designated accessory

Is this right? nothing needs to be between the switch and accessory?

The "out" on the switch should be used to trigger a relay that will turn the accessory off and on.

Ok, so now we're getting somewhere.. Relays.. I see many on NAPA website, and Autozone website. Is there a particular type that I need? I see "Accessory Relay" and "Relay on Accessory Power"

An accessory relay is all you will need. It is the easiest way to wire, I have done both ways.

Here is how I wire mine (the relay should be labeled):
Terminal 85 - Fused line to battery
Terminal 86 - + lead to accessory
Terminal 87 - Ground
Terminal 30 - To switch

I am sure other people have other ways to wire, but I have found this to be the easiest way to start out.

I really don't know about that one. I have never used an add-a-circuit before. I think I did read something on here about which fuse block to tap into though.
