Default Placement of KC Lites switch inside the cab

I am going to be installing KC's and was going to use the toggle switch that comes with the KC kit (rather than investing in a rocker panel). Any suggestions on a logical place in the cab to mount the toggle switch?

thanks for your help,

akk

I mounted them on the panel left of the. Steering wheel and between the vent and speaker. It's a good clean 4" panel and easy to work with. I mounted two KC switches and there is room for 2 more but I won't need the space.

I just installed KC's on my bull bar about three days ago and wrestled with this same problem. There is, of course, a small panel to the left of the steering column but i was not able to remove it. However, since I plan to add more electronics in the future, I installed the Daystar panel with four rocker switches. Obviously a bit more pricey than the supplied switch, but now I have spots for future mods. It's also easy to run the wires behind the pedals and connect to the Daystar.

Can you post a pic of it installed?

Default Thanks for the feedback

I will probably do this job on Thanksgiving and will reply with (hopefully) a successful comment and picture.

Use the A-pillar. it's convenient, easy to reach, and looks AWESOME with the doors off. Especially with 4 similar rockers there.

I'll try to get a pic when I get out of work.
