Default To plug or unplug...is the question

So I have a charging station/FM transmitter for my phone that I plug in the front outlet. When I turn off my car the little blue light on the charger is still on. I'm wondering if it's killing my battery slowly. So the question is...to plug or unplug it?

If the light is on it's getting power. One of the front plugs is switched by the ignition, the other is always on. It's probably not drawing a lot of power, but there is also an unconfirmed rumour floating around the internet regarding a Suburban catching on fire in a garage because of an ipod charger.

In my '08, drivers side plug is only on with ignition, passenger side always on. I only use the drivers side so I don't forget and accidentally leave something plugged in & drain the battery.

Tell that to those whose chargers burned down their vehicles.
