Default Power Outlet Blown

Had a flat tire the other day so hubby thought we could use his mini air compressor to fill it enough to get it to a place to get the tire patched. BUT his compressor was not up to par we had to keep jiggling it to get it work, my guess it had a short in it (You think). Any how we gave up and just changed the tire. BUT when I undid his compressor I notice it was smoking a little from the power outlet in the Jeep. Needless to say my outlet dose not work.

We tired to check the fuse which is not all that easy I did not see that any fuses were blown. Which is weird because that is want fused are for to protect a over load. In the manual it said Fuses M6 and M7 are for the power outlets now I'm I missing something??? Is there something else I should check before I assume it is just shot and will need a whole new outlet ? The Power Outlet that is not working is the full time outlet.

You probably didn't have an overload but those compressors are notorious for making a wimpy electrical contact due to the dirt cheap Chinese plugs that they come with.
You did state that you had to keep wiggling the plug to keep it working.
A poor electrical connection can easily start a fire and unless positive and negative wires meet it'll never blow the fuse

Here is a fix if your Jeep JK 12v outlet stops working but the fuses are not blown:
