Default Purchasing electronics from amazon?

Anyone have experience purchasing electronics ( car stereos and stereo parts) from amazon? Are the sellers reliable or should I stick with crutchfield?

I am a prime member, and I order stuff via prime all the time. And I mean everything. I will sometimes need to get stuff from an amazon seller, other than directly from amazon , and have never had an issue.

never a problem with amazon and their customer service is one of the best I've ever experienced. when I had a problem with receiving missing d-rings for a bumper, they helped me pick out new and stronger ones on amazon and sent them for free.
I'd rather use amazon and feel its safer than going thru vendors and letting them decide if I can return something or not. amazon will return anything including ur shipping fees. can't rave enough about my experience. plus u get to see other people reviews of the product is shit or not

Very good info! Thanks for the quick responses. Im looking at purchasing a pioneer unit and can save around $175 just by using amazon versus crutchfield

Crutchfield has always been overpriced.

Agreed that Crutchfield cost a little more money than other sellers like Amazon. But Crutchfiels is an authorized dealer for the products that they sell. Wen your buying electronics, that extra money is "Peace Of Mind".

I'm also an amazon prime member and my wife and I buy all kinds of stuff and have never had a problem with quality, shipping or anything. 2 day free shipping is awesome.
