Default Question: How do you remove...

There is a small flat blank panel under the switches that activate the lockers and sway bar disconnect. Does anyone know how this panel is removed? I would just pull on it, but I don't want to break it if there is more to it than that.

I've got my 6.7" VX HID lights all wired up and ready to go... I just need to install the switches. I plan on removing this blank panel and using a milling machine to exactly mill three 15/16" holes, evenly spaced, because this is the diameter of my switches. I got three great switches with integrated LED lights to tell you when a switch is active. One LED is red, one is blue and one is amber.

I'm going to use the amber one for my HID lights that are windshield mounted and the blue one will be for my 42" Vision X Xmitter bar that should be arriving in the mail any day now. The red one will be a spare, but I will probably add a light for backing up. I'm not sure yet...

My only other delema is where to mount the XMitter bar. I would like the bottom of the bar to be even with the top part of the windshield glass so that the top of the bar is even with the top of the roof. That way the aerodynamics won't be too screwed up. I have yet to see the Xmitter bar up close, but here is a photo but here is a photo

I know... what about lift and tires? I have to drive to Maine in two months so I will wait until after I put the miles on my vehicle. That seems reasonable, doesn't it?

Just pull on it, gently, it will pop off.

I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. I am talking about the panel that is about 8" wide and 6" tall (just a guess from memory) that is directly in front of the range selector lever on the center console. If you put your finger on the locker button, move your finger down about 4". You will come to another panel... that is the one to which I am referring.

Well heck... I just got it off and there is no room at all, except on the bottom. That will never do... Sonce I just put on a Mopar bumper, I lost my fog lights. I decided to just wire the lights to the factory fog-light switch where the headlights are. That solves THAT problem.
