Quick My Gig Question.

Will a my gig RER unit part #82211471AB from a 2008 model year vehicle work on my 2009 sahara?

But what exactly is the difference between the low and high speed except the obvious?

The speed refers to the bus speed in the Jeep computer system. A low speed unit will not work with the Wrangler computer system. It will light up but will not activate.

If the Canbus systems don't match you might as well buy a $1500 brick. It simply will not communicate with the JK's Canbus system and will not turn on at all.
