radio head unit

Does any one know if there is a difference between a stock 1 cd with sat radio, and a Infinity 1 cd with sat radio, and are they just plug and play

It would appear that all head units are the same, except for features, and the infinity system is the amp speakers and sub, so really no such thing as a infinity head unit.

At least this is what I have been able to gather myself..
