Default Rant about uConnect module/harness

Do these have any practical use on aftermarket radios? It seems like everyone I find selling their RES etc and advertising it as coming with bluetooth/handsfree connection are not including the actual module to make it work. At least half the time the seller has no idea what I am even talking about when I ask about it.

Craigslist, not here. But if anyone has upgraded to an aftermarket rig and has their parts laying around...

If I remember correctly, I got the microphone from a website for like $20-$30. I used it for a few months until I realized that the JK has so much road noise I was just shouting on the phone with people and the volume was way too loud. I personally prefer my apple ear buds with microphone.

I think if you search around on amazon you will find the mic pretty cheap.

Nah I would need the entire 250 dollar external module. Have looked into it and may just order a whole different head unit for that much hassle
