Angry Reboot Mygig

Anyone know how to reboot Mygigstereo? The SAT got stuck over the weekend on an easy listening station and if I have to listen to one more Kenny G song I’m going to drive off the nearest Cliff.

Mine did this - except it was stuck on Country. Lesson learned, don't change the channel!!!

Seriously, mine reset after being switched off for about 4 hours. If all else fails you can always pull the negative terminal off the battery for a while.

Is this a common problem? My MyGIG freezes and reboots on its own about 60% of the time when first starting the Jeep. Sometimes it freezes and reboots 2-3 times in a row before I can even adjust the volume on the thing! It is getting really frustrating and it is not easy for me to get to my dealership.

i'm hoping when the new software update comes out it will fix these issues.

Which version of the software are you guys running?

It shouldn't be freezing or rebooting on you.
Download the 9.713 version, install it and see if that helps.
If not, you have something hardware wise wrong, and you should either hit the dealer, or email harmon directly and ask for advice.

Good luck.
