Default Relay for Hood lights

Do I really need to use a relay when I wire in my pillar lights? They only draw like 5-6 amps at most. Just curious what every ones thoughts are. I am using 2 vision-x LED spots.

No. Just double check the amp rating of your switch.

Yeah, I just wired them directly to the battery with a 30 amp switch, after searching a few forums it was a 50/50 on using relays

Did you include a fuse on the positive near the battery?
