Three torx screws, pull the speaker out, unplug it and its out. You can either buy harnesses ($10 a pair) or just cut the factory connectors off and plug them into the new speaker.

I added new Alpine components to the bar. Super easy!!! Don't forget polyfil. Makes a HUGE difference.

Without an amp?

It's very easy.... as stated, 3 screws, speaker pops out and there is a plug/harness - just unplug it, simple as that.

What speakers do you plan on getting? I have the Kicker 6 1/2's for the front and rear and they are pretty darn good if you ask me. Also the fact that I have a Kenwood head unit which I'm sure helps a whole hell of a lot too, haha.

No, you do not need an amp. With an aftermarket head unit, there will be enough clean power to the speakers.
