Make sure to get the chrome off the shrouds before painting

Please don't go chrome. Chrome IMO does not belong on a jeep. I'd go the flat or gloss black or a gunmetal grey like I have if you want some contrast. If your doing a different color for your accent and accessories pieces then color match them to that.

I really didn't plan on chrome I was just throwing that out there. I'm actually trying to get rid of what chrome it has on it right now which would be a fuel door and steps steps will probably come off today.

Lights are here and one is put together I ended up painting the shrouds satin black and amber led halos on them. It's crazy hot out here!

Think I either want to build a new set or redo mine and put the halo behind the shroud.

I have always been under the impression that they should have a little angle to them and that's what the difference is between LHD and RHD projectors

No. See where the line angles up then flattens again. That's where the LHD and RHD come from. The higher point is on the passenger side since we drive on the right side of the rd you don't want to blind drivers on the left side as they pass you. Go in a rhd and in Europe where everything is flopped created the need for the rhd projector to reverse the pattern.

Best way I know how to explain it and it's all speculation. Lol
