Default RHB 2011 Head unit and Bluetooth?????

Apparently there is a change for the 2011 head unit, and the lockpick won't work to activate the bluetooth, can someone please help me with a part number for what I need for the factory for this??? I have conflicting info, one side says all I need is a mike and software, the other side says I need a module? Does anyone know for sure?? Thanks.

The Bluetooth chip is no longer incorporated inside the RHB like the RER units were. You ARE required to purchase a Unconnect module and mic. And you will need to visit the dealership to have it activated if you perform the install yourself.

I wonder if you previously had your JK starscanned for Uconnect and you had the box and mic from say a single disc if it would be plug and play with the RHB unit without further dealer action?

As of right now either Mopar Parts America or the dealership. Sometimes it sucks having a brand new vehicle model. You can either be patient and wait for the 3rd party providers or you can pay out of the pocket now...

They are going back to the old version. My order got cancelled because of the Navi Unit. Ask your dealer.

Since when have dealers ever had correct information???

Maybe your dealer should tell Mopar to take this installation guide down for an RHR install for the Wrangler?
