Default Rigid Dually or Hella Black Magic 500

First off, I know these are 2 different setups, but I was wondering if someone had some side by side comparisons of the two. The $100 difference is what's got me stuck. I can get either one, I just want to know if the extra for the Rigid's is really worth it. I know folks swear by the Rigids, so I'm just curious. These are going to go on my lower A Pillar BTW.

Thanks,
Kevin

I went with Rigid LEDs when I picked out windshield mounted lights. They are a small light that doesn't come into my field of view at all. They mount low so the light throws very little across the hood of the Jeep. The durability of LEDs vs. incandescent lights was another factor I considered. The LEDs don't tax the electrical system nearly the same way incan. does if you have lots of accessories running on the Jeep. They are nice and bright, too.

Here you can see very litle light spilling across the hood. Some of the reason is the mounts, but the stubby little lights help as well.

I went with the Rigid D2s mounted at the A-posts.......as above they do not come into field of view and are extremely bright........and the power draw is low compared to other auxillary lights.

Cheers

since your mounting them there, I would go with the dualy.

if you were mounting them out front or up top the Hella throws way more light

I should have specified that. I'm running 50w hid and they throw a crap load of light down the road.
