Default Which Rigid Industries Light - Spot, Driving, Hybrid (spot/flood combo)

Anybody have real world experience with Rigid Industries 10" light? I have no clue what works best... basically I will use the 10" light on the beach at night and some open field 4 wheeling (no close quarter tree stuff for me). This will go on my front bumper bull bar.

Spot, Driving, Hybrid (spot/flood combo). I also see when called Polaris (any ideas on what this is?).

Thanks.

I have no experience with the manufacturer or their product. But, taking into consideration where you will be mounting the fixtures. And how you want to use them. I would have to go with the Driving Beam Pattern. They would compliment your high beams very well in this location. However, the spot / flood combos sound interesting.

I personally run a pair of older d1 duallys in flood on either side of my 10" spot... I do some beach driving but not fast enough to utilize the spot. In all honesty i will be paying Rigid to rebuild it at a flood.

The spot is very bright and focused and really just not what i need... I do alot of night drivng on trails on the beach but the fact is that light is better suited for an atv or bike. I love it but i dont need it at a spot. I run my dualys on rthe street too- wired directly into my fog lamp relay. I use the spot mostly to blind others anymore.

Sure I'm not going to be running any Baja Races. But it's nice to be able to see long distances. Especially in wide open spaces. Like say a beach front maybe. Or an open field even. Certanily you need to see the road immediately in front of you too. The Driving Beam combines both of these in one small package. It doesn't do either one of them exceptionally well. But it is the only beam pattern that does both at the same time very well.

I have a set of Dually Spots on my pillars, a set of Dually floods as my fogs, and a single Dually Flood tied to my backup lights. But no experience with the 10" bar.

It's all in what you want like you said... Floods will give you a less concentrated flood patten and the spots will give you the distance and concentrated look.... I personally would go with the dual spot flood combo I was looking into that same one for my hood they make some great blinding LEDs

I have a 10" flood light bar and like it. I think having a spot/flood would be helpful. I ended up buying a bracket because I made my own mounting holes and security nuts to prevent someone stealing it. I also bought the amber color cover, so when I'm in the desert and there is a lot of sand dust it helps to see through it.

Looks good... I am wondering how a 20" would look on the bull bar... I guess I will measure it after work. Good call on the security nuts. I was going to use the red loctite but I guess I will look into your solution instead.
