Rugged Ridge A Pillar Switch Pod

Does anyone use or have an opinion about the Rugged Ridge Switch Pod? Looks pretty nice.
Thanks

It looks awesome! Make sure you get the one that is made specifically for your year jeep. 2007-2010 will not fit as nicely in the 2011-2012 jeeps so inquiry before you buy!

I like it, my only beef is with the switches, the light on the switch is too bright. So if you have it hooked up to driving lights at night, the blue light is blinding. I disconnected the ground to the switch so the light does not come on.

I used marine switches in mine (Carling Technologies). There are on-off-on, so I can wire one side of the switch to turn the lghts on when the high beams are on and the other side of the switch is hot all the time so i can turn the lights on whenever I need to.

I love mine but the only down side is I can't put in a roll cage. I may take it out down the road if I ever start doing any serious rock crawling.

Cover the switch with a very small piece of masking tape or scotch tape about 1/8" wide lenghtwise. Paint with black (or blue in your case, yellow, red, green) paint. Let it dry, remove the tape and - voila - you have only a very small area for the light to shine through.

Is it a pain to use the ottrw switches with this?

Not at all, the OTRATTW switches fit perfectly the only switched that would give a problem would be the new laser etched switches, those are 1/16 to wide to use. I ordered everything i needed to do this install from OTRATTW, they even carry the RR switch POD .

Order the OTRATTW switches in 18volt and they will not be so bright.
