Rugged Ridge Switch Wiring Diagram
 

I was surprised that the Rugged Ridge A-Pillar switch pod didn't come with a wiring diagram for the switches. I found this online and thought it might be useful to others.

Yeah I just got mine wired yesterday it was confusing.

Still trying to get mine wired correctly with my KC Driving lights. I put the the tan ground to the brass colored post, the green wire on the post next to it and the white on the last post. Still cant get them to work. Is it possible I blew something or broke somethign by wiring incorrectly.:dontknow2:

Try swapping the green & white. The post furthest from the LED light is the ground for the LED. The middle is the source/accessory and the one closest to the LED is power.... I think.

Just installed some rock lights and used these switches. After a few hours and many unsavory words I finally got it hooked up. Copper=ground, middle=attach accessory, last=12v source. I used one of the positive wires from the cigarette lighter to run power. If you use a direct battery hook-up the LED light will stay lit with the ignition off causing battery drain.

Only if I would have seen this yesterday !!!!!!!!

I was cursing and blew 4 fuses trying to figure that damn pattern out.

If you swap the two non-grounds the switch light will only light up then the switch is on with direct battery hookup. I had the same problem initially.

figured out I had blown a fuse. Now works correctly. Thanks everyone
