My sirius signal cuts out every so often, only for a split second, but it cuts out a few times an hour if not more often tha that? ..... on my Durango I lost the signal long enough to cut out, but much less often.... so I wonder where the sat antenae is on the JK?

I love sat radio btw..... the choices and the lack of comercials/interuption is awesome!!

I too have a problem with XM, to many dead spots.
On the other hand, I also have XM on my bike, Gold Wing, there I have very few dead spots.
On a certain stretch on my way home, the JK cuts in and out constantly, with the bike, it never misses a beat. Go figure.

With Sirius I've found that certain radio signals, such as traffic radars used to monitor freeway speeds, tend to interfere with the signal. I have several locations in Los Angeles were I lose the signal for a few seconds. It baffled me until I noticed those gray radomes on the overhead signs, then it all made sense. I suspect that other random radio or microwave signals occasionally cause problems.

I would like to replace the stock antennae but I fear that my sat radio runs through it somehow. Where is that SAT antennae?
