Sirius "cutting out"
the sat antennae is under that piece of plastic on top of the radio. the radio antennae outside the jeep doesnt have anything to do with the sat radio, so you can replace it without worry.
I don't know where it would be above the sound bar. I have crawled all over the jeep with the top down and see nothing that could be the sat. antenna. Now it could be inside the plastic piece that is the sound bar
I am going to have alot of newbie questions.
I don't know about the rest of you, but my antenna is located on the top side of the soundbar (passenger side). The antenna that is located above the radio under the plastic piece is for the compass.
Hmmmmmm... I've had that cover off several times, and all I've ever seen in there are the compass sensor and GPS antenna. I do have Sirius installed and know that the antenna lead goes off elsewhere in the vehicle.
I've never had a need or occasion to find it, but I've read the posts of several who mention that it is located in the soundbar above the Passenger side B-Pillar.
