Slow Ipod Scrolling and a Question
 

Hey guys, I have a 2012 JKU with BASE stereo. My issue/question:

The ipod cable in the center console is essentially useless because using the head unit to control the ipod is soooooo slow. I could use the aux plug but dont want the cable hanging from the head unit. Can the aux plug be inverted and I run the stereo cable out of the back of the unit and bount the ipod in the cup holder (or elsewhere).

Or, is there another aux/stereo plug in the read of the HU?

Anyone else have this complaint with very slow ipod navigation through the usb plug in the console?

Any other suggestions?
