Some fm channels wont work!?

Default Some fm channels wont work!?

I only get in like 3 FM Channels and I get fuzz on my favorite channels that have been working unitl i just installed my neew deck. Its a sony xav-60. Any one know why this could be happening? Could my antenna adapter be bad?

either bad, or not pushed in all the way. any chance you strained the antenna wire when you removed the old deck?

could be the problem i guess? i mean i dont wanna rule anything out at this point? Im guessing that would be a pain in the ass to fix lol. So its possible to get some channels clear if the antenna line was broke?

I also noticed when i had the deck out of the console and on my lap there was no signla anywhere, but when i put it in the deck it cleared up alot??

Possibly a grounding issue then?

hmmmmm. i Have all 3 of my grounds on a bolt that screws into the back of my dash, that metal part back behind the dash
