Speaker Problem
Ok,
So I parked my jeep in my garage for a couple days and then i went to start it up after changing my oil today and i get this annoying high pitched sound from my right tweeter. it really is only from that speaker but it will throw out my entire system while it is happening, then if i let the stereo sit for a while then it will be fine in about 5 or 10 min, but it will happen again when i restart the engine. has anyone else had this problem? any help would be great thanks

yeah, it is all factory, no i dont think that it could be an engine noise because if you shut all the doors or if you cover the one speaker than you dont hear it, it some what mutes it
with the radio on and no volume and the jeep on and tyhe engine running. push down on the gas pedal. if the noise get louder and more distinctive you have a a bad ground some were. if this happenes it should be coming from all of your speekers. if it's only one. like your tweeter it's more than likly a bad tweeter and needs to be replaced. also if you have a factory amp. the amp could also be going out!

ALL FIXED,
thanks for the help, it was the amp under the steering wheel, it was covered in mud from a mudding trip, took it apart and cleaned it completely out, not it works perfect and even better than before.
Thanks
