So these are the switches that came on my spod Can anybody tell me exactly what rocker I will need from otrattw if I wanted to change my switch covers out. I see contura 1, 2,V etc. which ones will work and which ones won't? Also with the dual lights any particular one I should look for? Thanks

I purchased the Contura XIV rockers for my Spod with dual led switches.

Looks perfect.

 

Sure, it is confusing, isn't it? Here is what I know ...

Contura II: These are silk-screened rather than laser-engraved with the indicia. That means that at night they light up, but the indicia is not readable. Basically, you have a big bright, colored area that's lit and the indicia is trying to silhouette that out. It doesn't work very well. IMHO, these are the most suitable looking toggles for the old JK interior (the one I have, BTW).



Contura V: These are laser-engraved. When backliit they will nicely display the indicia. They have a somewhat modern look and are more suitable for the new interior. I don't have an image since I've never owned, but have a friend with them a they work fine.

Contura XIV: Also laser-engraved. And work well with the old or new interior. Perhaps not quite as suitable as the other two, but then that's a matter of personal taste.

 

All Contura actuators fit any Contura switch.
