Default Steering wheel audio controls dont work on a 2011 jk.

Two days ago my 2011 steering wheel controls worked just fine. Yesterday they did not work, whats wrong?

They forgot to mention in the manual you have to hit your steering wheel a few times when this happen.

just give it a good shot or 2 and they will work. i did this 40k miles ago and they have never gone out again

Funny thing mine stopped working for about two months then just started working again. Didnt try the hitting it thing

Just honk the horn and everything will work again. There is a TSB to reprogram the body control module. I had mine done no problem since!

Same thing happened to me on a road trip on spring break at about midnight, I got mad and hit the horn... Everything works again

Go tot he dealership to have the TSB flash performed and this will permanently resolve the issue.
