Default Steering wheel dance and Hypertech

I have a 2007 2 door, and recently had a TSB reflash, which also updated the ECU to be able to disable ESP with the steering wheel dance. I have been completely unsuccessful in getting it to work and was wondering if it was due to the fact I have the hypertech programming installed. During the last Corral Canyon get together I was having a horrible time in 4HI. It was cutting the throttle over every rock and hill. I tried the ESP off 5 second method, and I tried my ESP kill switch with no luck. Anyone have any advice I need to spin my tires! Thanks.

I did the steering wheel procedure lsited in the manual on my 08 and it worked. Actually ahd a hard time getting it back before I traded it in. You could set the HypTech back to stock and then try it.

Exactly what I thought, and the dash lights come on as usual, so I don't get it.
I'll try putting the tuning back to stock and try the factory ESP shutoff, but I doubt it will solve it if the kill switch doesn't work.

The ESP button on the center console only partially turns off the ESP. You have to do the steering wheel dance. I found http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticl...tem/index.html that link to be the most helpful for me. I tried using a different one but found that one to be more specific. I didn't realize once you turned the wheel 180 degrees it couldn't move, at all, for the seven seconds. A lot of people can attest it takes a few tries to get it. Good luck.

Interesting, that article claims I shouldn't have a problem if I use the 5 second ESP hold. So it has to be something else wrong, if the kill switch and factory 5 second button trick aren't working. I wonder if the dealer would check it out for free, since it started happening after the last TSB reflash.
