Default Stock sirius antenna connection......

I have a 2011 JKUR and was curious as to the type of connection the stock sirius antenna uses to connect to the back of the stock head unit? I need to get a new antenna but could not find a definite answer to this question through google. Has anyone replaced their stock antenna and if so which one did you use and how is it working? Thanks!

I think it is called a Terk connector. I tried and tried to find it once upon a time and never did.

Where would I find this type of antenna that I could mount on the outside of my jeep?

Any of them can be mounted outside. Even the OE antenna.

Like JK-Ford said the OE can be used, not sure why you need a new one, if its broke then don't know where to point you. If not the OE has more than enough length to reach outside. Not sure what the name of the thread I read the other day, but its on a gobi roof rack install. That guy move the OE from where it mounts on the top of the sound bar to the cowl on the driver side and it looked good, nice and clean looking. I'll post up the link if I come across it.

Didn't find the link I was talking about but here is a link if you'd like to buy a new OE antenna.
