I did the same but when plugged back in all worked but the settings (base , treble, etc) were reset to factory. Try disconnecting the battery fo 3 minutes then re-connect. Resets the computor.... Good luck !

just tried unhooking the battery, nothing, both fuses are fine as well.

I cant fugure out whats wrong, the unit itself wasnt even plugged in while i was messing around so i shouldnt have shorted it, only thing i can think of is the amp, and i just pulled it out to have a look at the board and its fine.

Make sure that the antenna wire is securely plugged into the head unit. I believe it also acts as a ground. Had that issue on another vehicle.

By the way if anyone upgrades thiers with Sirius as an after market OEM unit, you do not need the factory antennae. The sirius magnetic antennae works just fine.

Antennae? He wrote antennae! But, to be serious (oh, I wrote a pun!): Antenna or antennas. Bugs, insects, etc, have antennae. Cars and trucks and Jeeps have antennas. Normally I don't like to be the grammar police, but having worked in radios for over four decades, this particular one really annoys me.
