Stock Subwoofer New uses?
 

I've got a 2014 Jku with the stock alpine system. I've since added new speaker system and a 12" sub in the back. My question and interest is has anyone done something with there stock subwoofer housing? I've though about trying to turn it into a storage compartment of some sort or even to hold my amplifier. I would just take it out and get another trim piece but before I did I thought it be worth trying to overhaul. thoughts?

Tuffy makes a steel plate with hinges that turns that area into lockable storage.

If you have an air tank in the rear (stock muffler location, etc) I would think an air hose spool would work well there
