Swap ABS Module From Different Years?
 

Hey there! I’m a technician for a little independent shop and I have an ‘08 JK, just the 2 door X. My ABS Module has recently crapped out (C2200). I’ve been poking around on forums and such but haven’t found an answer to my specific question. I have a spare ABS module from a 2011 JK (different engine than mine) and I was wondering if I installed it could I get it to work? Same shape, same plug, etc, but different part numbers.

I have heard different information about MOPAR programming suggesting it wouldn’t as they are different part numbers, but nothing truly concrete. Anyone who has tried this? Or any programmers who could tell me why it may work/wont work? Thanks!
